Fly ash samples were collected from the coal-fired power plant in Shandong Province, China. The samples of fly ash, pure ash and different sizes of fly ash for were prepared for experiments. In the first stage, the collected fly ash was dried in drying oven at 105 °C for 2 h, cooled in a vacuum chamber, and weighted 150±0.5 g for each sample.
